Tasks are the center of the Process Mapping module and are quite easy to setup. This portion of the documentation will take you over "Creating", "Editing", "Moving" and "Duplicating" Tasks. Below is a bit about the visual representations of tasks in the "Task Map".
Our task system allows you to have 3 different types of tasks, these are "Automated", "Manual" and "Hybrid". When viewing the process map each type of task is denoted with a different Icon as shown above.
For every task you have the option to add a "Task Dependency" which is basically a way of telling people what task needs to be done before this one can start. Every Dependency also shows with the respective process that it is linked too.
When creating tasks you are able to select up to 5 Departments and Systems to be connected to the task. You also have the option to say that those Departments use a specific process to complete the task, in this case "Accounts Payable" and "Logistics" departments use the process "Driver Certification & Licensing" and require the "Oracle" and "SAP" systems to complete this task/process.
Decisions are a task that allows you to choose which task it should logically flow through to depending on a Yes/No decision.
