# Creating an Business Impact Analysis

#### Step #1  Adding a BIA

Select the "*Business Impact Analysis"* module and click the "Add"button as highlighted above.

#### Step #2 Give your BIA a name&#x20;

A form will popup with inputs to create a BIA.

There will be an dropdown labeled "What type of change do you want?" System or Process and depending on what you select will change what type of BIA you create

#### Step #3 Create your BIA

Once you are done filling in the form you can click the *"Start a BIA - Business Impact Analysis"* button as shown above. This will create a new BIA detailing "3 reports" outlining all of the relevant stakeholders, technology and organizational structure etc that will be impacted&#x20;
