Enterprise Mapping via CSV

There are 2 Types of CSV Import "Basic" and "Detailed". If you are going to be doing "Detailed" imports then you should be doing them after completing the "Basic" imports.

When importing entities the recommended flow to follow is People (CSV Import) -> Functions (CSV Import) -> Departments (CSV Import) -> Branches (CSV Import) -> Systems (CSV import) -> Teams (CSV Import) -> External Value Chain (CSV Import) -> Functions To Branches -> Processes To Systems -> Functions To Systems -> Departments To Functions -> Processes To Departments -> People To Departments -> Processes To Teams -> People To Teams -> EVCs To Processes

How To Import Data

The steps to import data is the same across all different imports and they are as follows.

First navigate to the Data Import screen by clicking on "Data Import" in the menu bar. This will take you to the screen below.

Once you have your CSV ready you can click the "Click to upload your "{Selected Type}" CSV file" button. This will take you to the screen below

Once you have made sure that all the fields match up you can click the "Upload Now" button. This will then take you to the next screen as shown below

On this screen you can review all the people you are going to be importing and once you are happy with it you can click the "Continue" button to finish the import.
