Prerequisites: You may need to have at least one or more existing Functions and Departments to be created

To make someone a external person you need to check the "External Person" checkbox as highlighted

This will allow you to add a "External Person" which changes the popup to look like this:

People Type

* means a required field

• *First Name (Text): Can be any text

• *Last Name (Text): Can be any text

• *Email (Text): Formatted as an email address

• *Position (Text): Can be any text

• External Person (Yes / No): Checkbox

These fields only apply if "External Person" is not checked

• Department (Department): Searches for a valid Department Typeby field "Department Name"
• Function Owner (Function): Searches for a valid Function Type by field "Function Name"
• Department Manager (Department): Searches for a valid Department Type by field "Department Name"

When created the "First Name" and "Last Name" fields get joined to create a field called "Full Name" which is used in searches
